Reloading steel/non-toxic shotshells?

Does anyone here reload steel shot, or any othe type of non-toxic shot? Do I need different types of componetes (for example wads) for loading various types of non-toxic shot? I plan on doing a lot of duck hunting next season. Paying about 10-12 dollars a box for 12gauge steel shotshells and I'd like to lower my cost if possible. Any and all help would be appreciated.

You need different wads to hold the same weight of the less dense steel shot. This place supplies them, among others. Once you have the same weight shot column, other load factors should be the same, theoretically. But check some published steel shot data to be sure. I've never loaded steel myself.
