This has to make you laugh. NYC sells casings to Georgia Arms.

Criticized Bloomers stands behind the sale. Because he is about crime control and not gun control.
“There’s a big distinction between legal dealers and illegal dealers and criminals and law-abiding citizens"

Mr. Feinblatt said dealers in guns and ammunition in Georgia should not all be painted with a “broad brush” because of those who have acted illegally

The story notes that buying the reloads would be illegal for most in NYC. OOPS!

The mind boggles. The spokesperson must not have watch Mayor Bloomer's tirade against guns, Big Gulps and baby formula on the tube.

He talks himself in so many circles it makes my brain hurt

However, based on the info in the story you linked, Glenn, methinks someone should be spending a bit less time on the national stage and a bit more time paying attention to his own city's problems - where, for the record, gun bans sure seem to have helped reduce crime, haven't they?

Georgia Arms should publicize this story, segregate the NYC cases, and sell the reloaded cartridges in special packaging as "New York Reloads". :D

I wonder if they could legally get away with putting Mayor Bloomberg's smiling face on the label by arguing that he's a public figure and the use of his likeness is satirical... ;)

GREAT IDEA! Doesn't anyone here have a contact at Georgia Arms to pass it on?

Come to think of it, was Georgia Arms one of the companies Bloomy had his investigators try to ensnare for selling gun-stuff to people from NYC?

That would probably fly, but Bloomie has enough money to make it costly for Georgia Arms. However ...

Just about everyone has a doppleganger. GA could run a Bloomberg look-alike contest, and use the winner's photo on their packaging ... complete with model releases and a paid modeling fee for the photo shoot. All completely legal.

Too funny. It just goes to show that it's really all about the money, not the principles, for folks like the Mayor.
