Red Dot/Ruger MKIII

Anyone have a red dot on their MKIII? I just ordered a bushnell trophy red dot for mine. I want to try it out and maybe shoot bullseye and just plink with it. If you have a red dot on yours how do you like it? Is it still as much fun and as good of practice for big bores with the red dot?

I had one on my 22/45 and currently on my CZ Kadet.

Certainly makes things a lot easier and more fun, that's for sure.

As for practice, I find myself concentrating more on the trigger pull instead of trying to line up those blurry iron sights. It seems to help.

I put a red dot on a MKIII678 and it works great for 50 yard plates. I Only wish I had a longer barrel for more knock down power....
Make sure you use Loctite [blue] on the scope base screws
