Recommendation S&W640 ankle holster.

Now that we have CCW in Illinois I'm looking for a good ankle holster for my S&W640. I have been carring it in a pocket holster when I wear jeans. But dress pants show to much of a print. Plus my wife says "I know thats not you"..........So I up for recommendation....Thank you.....

Look at the Galco ankle rigs for the 642 (same gun configuration).

Bianchi Triad....I've used one for almost a decade with my 637. Secure and comfortable. Get the strap extensions if your are wearing it with boots.

For what it's worth....I've used both the Galco and the Renagade and the Renagade is far more comfortable......in use by most Phoenix LEO's.

Desantis Model 044. Carried one EVERYDAY for the past 11 years. Had the Velcro replaced once............

The holsters with the neoprene wrap have been known to have the holster break away from the wrap at the stitching, letting the holstered gun fall to the ground. Seen it happen once. FYI
