Recoil Spring replacement

How often should you replace the recoil spring in a Glock, G30 to be exact. I have put around 4000 rounds through it and I have yet to have a malfuntion.

Im sure there are preventative maitenence things you should do to keep a weapon in top condition. I was looking at getting the Titanium guide rod recoil spring as a replacement.

So what do you guys say? Every 4000 rounds?

Don't own a Glock but replace recoil spring
every 2000 rounds on my pistols,just something I have always done as maint.Works for me.

I was replacing all the springs in my firearms at around 3000 rounds. I have now changed that to 6000, providing the recoil springs measure out to within 1/2 inch of a new spring at that point. If the recoil spring measures out shorter than that I will readjust my replacement schedule.
