-Flag is backwards.
-The Omega Symbol is not present on the real.
-The upper & lower doesn't fit flush on the outside. The lower has an overbite.

He is saying that there is a company making fake Daniel Defense Omega rails and he just was just taken advantage of by a seller of one.

Have you contacted Daniel Defense to let them know the details? I hate counterfeiters of all kinds and see them as nothing more than thieves.

Just a few off the top of my head.

-Longer extension & doesn't fit right; the 'bridge' in between the forearm & upper receiver, it slopes/deflects/bends.
-Inferior machining.
-Not heat treated to tolerate 'real firearm' use.
-More weight.
-it's a friggen knock-off.
-$269 vs $39-89.
-USA vs China!
-American wrokers vs child labor & slaves.
-Mil-spec vs toy for kids between 6 to 15?

Are the physical differences, aside from the backwards flag thing, difficult to spot if someone were to look at one prior to purchase? Or is it only discoverable once you mount the thing on your gun?

You bought it from someone in a parking lot?

Iron Balls, what you probably bought is a licensed airsoft accessory. Daniel Defense most likely knows they are being made, but the seller ripped you off.
