Ok so Im a bit anxious to re-assemble my "New Agent" Colt .45 1911 after of course I disassemble it, neither of which I have done yet...
I do not want to put an "Idiot Scratch" on it's nice parkerized frame...
So I am asking advice from those of you that have done so on this size Colt for advice...
So far I know about, putting some electrical tape on the frame around the slide stop area... also to pull the the recoil rod out some so the link can align easier... seems easy enough... but what's the best way to install the slide stop beyond that...
