I usually research for months before I buy a gun, especially a new one (I have been known to pick up a used one on a spur of the moment, but even then I usually know a lot about the model.)
Friday night I ordered a Sig P522 from buds. I was wanting a fun plinker, but had not really made my mind up on what I wanted. Was looking at a S&W M&P 22 and even a Ruger Charger. Saw this listed for $369. A quick internet search did not show a lot on this model, but most of what I found was favorable. Very little about it on TFL (at least according to the search function).
Anyone here have one? How do you like it? I know it does not come with iron sites, so anyone have any good suggestions on where to pick up some? Also, how many mags does this ship with form the factory? Buds did not list. And, I know this is a stupid question, but does it use the same mags as the 522? Any aftermarket mags to avoid? Any particular ones that are know for reliability?
