Ranges near Pinehurst NC

In June I have to go to a company required off site meeting in Pinehurst NC at the Pinehurst resort. We have the nignts/late afternoon to ourselves and I don't play golf or tennis so are there any ranges close to Pinehurst I can slip off and play at? Might be a good chance to sight in a AR or play with a FAL. Also any decent gun shops in the area, other than Ed's which I intend to visit.

I believe the historic Pinehurst Gun Club is still open. It's been years since I was there but its a really interesting place. Trap and skeet for sure, maybe a KD range, but I'm not sure. Lots of pictures in the clubhouse from the 'old days' -- Anne Oakley and all.
Worth a visit to pick up a ball cap if nothing else!! I did! FWIW..............
