Tested a lot of .223
Heres what I found.
Hornady Moly coated VX - #1 These rounds are flawless, and are pure evil on small game.
Winchester Ballistic Silvertips #2 are almost too pretty to fire! Grey tip, black bullet and nickle cases... Very slick looking. They hit hard too... about the same as the hornady fodder. But I seemed to miss a few more times with them.
Black Hills rolls some good stuff too.
I will be back with more info later...

Tried any Fed 223 tactical LE,(there is that word again) its the only one i would use for deer etc, it is a bonded bear claw bullet. kills cars, windshields, gel and cardboard and beer/pop cans with aplomb. on the serious side it hangs together and and expands.LAPD special ops (fugetive) loves it (last i heard).

I absolutely love Black Hills 55 gr. SP. I have had great accuracy from this round, in both my AR15 and Rem. 7 .223, and it blows the crap out of what I hit.
