Ebay

You see them quite often, on EBay and I'll bet GunBroker ,ight carry them as well. Now then, other M/L manufacturers use similar rod retentions. Might look into them as well. They are not very expensive .... :)

Depending on your firelock, I'd look at Lyman or even Traditions (and perhaps TC, but I'm not sure if they use one) for their spring and modify it (size it) to fit.

I have made a couple ramrod retainer springs using spring stock that are flat "helper springs" for old double hung windows. I make them to just catch the tip of the rod when it is all of the way in.

Forget about getting any support from TC, unless you know someone there. I know that the Lyman would work and not sure about Traditions. ......

T. O'Heir; No idea how current this is.
I think you have something here. The site allowed me to put on, in the shopping basket. Great lead and I am going to order one. Thanks ...... ;)

T. O'Heir Thank you for the link. I ordered one and got a confirmation email and got another email this morning with an order number and receipt. I am looking forward to my ramrod not sliding out when the muzzle is pointing down.
