quick speed loader question?

I am wanting to get my dad a few speed loaders for his ruger... i believe it is a security six or sevice six(stainless,2 3/4in bbl, fixed sight .357 mag). the question is, will the hks speed loader thats made for the gp100 work?

Not exactly...

It will work, in a pinch (I've tried it), but it's not the model HKS recommends for the Security-Six.

The GP-100 uses HKS model 586-A.

The Security-Six takes model Mark 3-A best.
