I'm looking into fireproof safes.
A couple that intreged me, at a local safe/locksmith joint, are:
An Amsec HC1845. They said they'd get it into my garage for $1500. Is this good?
Also, they had some other safes present. The company is called "Security Products", NOT to be confused with AMSEC. The safes have key locks; but the locks are recessed into the door such that you have to turn them from inside a small hole, with key facing upwards. "Deep recessed locking system". He said that it actually took them longer to cut one open than a dial lock.
Has anyone heard of these? Any good? Worth the $1100-1200? (This model was about the same size as the Amsec HC1845, 16 guns).
?
thanks,
Battler
