Question: reloader 15 for 308

My 4lbs of RE15 arrived today!

I've been looking around for some recipes for RE15 and 308.
Most of the load data I've found has 168 grain bullets and above.

Anyone have any experience/advice using it with 150 grain bullets?

As you will see there is a load for a speer 150 gr bullet there which may help...

My Savage 10 FP shoots both 150 grain and 168 grain bullets great with Reloader 15.

It was the first powder that I tried with my .308 when I started reloading and I did lots of experimentation with it.
I shot mostly Sierra SMKs in both weights. The 150s had a bit of an edge early on, but as I got more practiced, the 168s seemed to get better.

R-15 is a good powder for the .308. Seemed like mine was best in the 2625 to 2675 fps velocity window with the 168s.

150 grain bullets will like it about 100 fps faster.

Glad it helped , here is a link to what IMR 3031 does for me. Its the first powder I bought and I think the next powder I try will be Rel 15 to. I've been testing 3031 for loads 150 gr and 168 gr bullets and I'm getting good results..
