Let's assume I have a Ruger Blackhawk convertible, dual cylinders for 357Mag and 9mm. We can bet good money the barrel will be a closer fit with .357 projectiles.
So, what happens if we load up 9mm rounds with .357 projectiles? Call it a "semi-wildcat"?
Would it maybe be worthwhile to open the throats of the 9mm chambers just a bit? (Depending on what they turn out to measure of course...)
Thoughts?
What I'm really interested in is setting up a second cylinder for my NewVaq in 9mm or more likely, 9x23 Winchester. Why? Because I can speed-load 'em from a tube due to the rimless shells, and they should eject faster too.\
