Question on bullet types for reloading

I have a silly question that I cannot find an answer to:

Can I use LRN and LSWC of the same bullet weight interchangeably? I'm talking of recipes that call for a LSWC in .38 Special, .357 Magnum, and .40 S&W.

Once you do a load work up to confirm that doing so is a safe practice in your firearm then yes.

Thank you both! I always load at min loading when using a different component, but wanted to ensure that there weren't any particulars I needed to be aware of before doing so.

Remember that nose profile has very little to do with pressures. Only the part of the bullet that contacts the barrel will effect pressure.
Same bullet weight, same material, same bearing surface profile, same pressure.
