Question about the $ value of this gun.

A friend of mine (its actually the guy that owns the factory that makes TFL shirts) is looking to sell a gun, and he is wondering what a good asking price is. It is a Ruger Security Six, bicentenial edition, stainless .357. Like New condition. It has only been fired a few times, if at all.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

There are two sources of info I tend to use to estimate the going prices of a gun: The Gun Trader's Guide, and gunsamerica.com. Gun Trader's guide is a good source for production years, specs, and approximate value. at gunsamerica.com, one can get an idea what the current *asking* price is.

Just found your revolver over there for about $279. Perhaps the value will go up more over time.
