For whatever ruger rifles are or are not, they are the brand I started with almost twenty years ago and I am very comfortable with them. I now have five m77's ranging from .204 to 7mm mag. My favorite though is my .25-06 vt model. I love calling coyotes and despite the extra weight it is the gun I grab every time. I hand load 117 gr nosler ballistic tips for this rifle and it shoots half moa groups at 200 yards. This is not off a true shooting bench so some of the variance may be my fault.
My question is two-fold. First, does anyone have a .25-06 load they feel would be more accurate? Secondly, I thought the trigger in the vt model was adjustable. If so can someone provide info on how to adjust it?
