Question about ammo

I am getting a Kel-Tec P11 and read stories about certain ammo jamming the gun. Which ammo is the "right one" to use, so the gun will not jam up? And has anyone ever used the Qwik-Shok ammo in the P11? Thanks.

the only ammo i've heard of teh KelTec being sensivie to is 147 gr. stuff. Some of it is a bit longer than 115/124 gr rounds. Any quality factory JHP whoud serve you well, including the Triton, but be sure to test fire a sufficient quantity to satisfy yourself that the gun is reliable with whatever you chose (which could be an expensive proposition with the Q/S). Maybe you should consider breaking 'er in with a variety of quality factory stuff, then move on to Q/S, or put the Q/s as the first one in the tube and back it up with some good JHP's like HydraShok or Gold Dots. Good luck with your new 'baby'.

I have shot a good bit of 115 g FMJ by Winchester and UMC without problems...

Never had a problem with Cor Bon 115 g +P JHP's, either.
