QD Mounts and Zero

I had to remove my ACOG yesterday, was a dummy and forgot to take note of its position on the rail. I can't be more than one or two slots off if any. That said, how jacked up is my zero probably?

Very little if any.

Not much at all. If you get lucky and get it back in the same slot it probably won't be off at all.

Good to go, just for the sake of gaining knowledge, how is your zero affected when you move your QD mounted optic forward of backward from the position it was zeroed?

Doesn't the ACOG really only go in one spot due to it's short eye relief?
