From what I know it seems to me that both of these system operate the same way. A firing pin is "half cocked" upon racking the slide and pulling the trigger fully cocks and then releases the firing pin. So given that the two systems seem very similar I don't see why the QA trigger would need to be any heavier then the Glock trigger but it is (8 vs. 5.5 pounds). Did Walther simply choose a heavier pull weight for safety? If that is the case a firing pin spring with similar tension to what Glock uses could be used resulting in similar pull weights with no decrease in reliability right?...Or is there more to the story.
