Proper recoil spring for a full size Beretta 96D?

Hello.

I recently purchased a used Beretta 96D, and I would like to get a new recoil spring for it.

I figure it would be a good idea, because I do know the handgun did have a decent number of rounds through it, and the stock recoil spring from my understanding is the same as the 92?!? so I figure it would be good to change it out anyhow.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this, and had any recommendations for spring "weight" for this hand gun.

Factory is 13 lbs, just like the 92. Some people put in heavier, but the 96 worked for it's entire production life with the 13 lb spring and the factory never saw a need to change it.
