Problem w/Atstra A-75...help

Today I cleaned and lubricated my Astra A-75...after reassembly, It is VERY hard to rack the slide..I took it apart again just to make sure nothing was out of place. When I reassembled it...still very hard to rack the slide...any ideas ?and....Im a strong guy...I promise its not a streghnth issue..lol.

Check position of ejector, is it bent and rubbing, or the hammer, is it resisting being pushed back? Take the slide back off, look for anything obviously bent or bright shiny brand new wear marks. Did you do anything to the DA mechanism? Run it past a local gunsmith if you don't find anything yourself. parts MAY be available from Old Western Scrounger or Numrich.

turns out I had to turn the recoil spring around..seems to have been the trick...thanks for you feedback.

Ah, good. I had an A-70 years ago, wanted the A-75, couldn't find one. Good guns, too bad the company is gone.
