I know, Sevens, I know. I should have bought another pound of powder.
My primer magazine is full and my powder shelf has overflowed to an adjacent shelf. That's maybe 10K primers of five different varieties and about 12-14 lbs of powder, not very impressive for around here but it's a lot for me and I'm tickled to be able to walk into a store and buy them.
I shouldn't have to buy components other than brass and a few pounds of powder for at least five years at the rate I load & shoot.
I used to buy primers 5K @ a time and I forgot that 231 came in 1# cans but times have changed and for me, the game has changed as well. I piddle and dabble with rifles and cast boolits instead of shooting and loading mass quantities of pistol rounds. Reloading was mostly a means to an end back then, nowadays it's a lot more fun and interesting.
