Price of Ruger Anniversary Edition

I've had an interest in the older style Ruger 38/357 revolvers and thinking it might be time to buy. I found one that's in pretty mint condition, but is also the 200th anniversary of freedom special. What would be a fair price for a speed six and how much of a premium would this special edition command ?
Thanks for any advice.

Not much more. Unless the gun is in absolutely new condition in box, the "Liberty" models are not worth much more than the standard gun.
I myself collect such guns (even though I only have three:rolleyes: ).
I have a Standard Auto, Single Six and 10/22 in Liberty models.
All three were priced the same as similar era non-1976 guns.

$250-$300 is the range for the gun you describe in VG to excellent condition in my area. More with box.

A quick search found this one for $400 "new in box". Who knows how long it's been on there.

Another on Gunbroker.

Thanks AFSHOOTER for your reply. The example on Gunbroker was the one I had in mind. I was bidding on it before it was recently relisted. I think I emailed him too many questions and he finally quit answering. He did tell me ( I really hadn't asked ) what his reserve was, it was more than you suggested.
I guess it's a good thing I quit bidding when he quit answering my questions, I was only 10.00 away from bidding his reserve at the time. There doesn't seem to be many desireable used handguns in the shops and shows in this part of the country. Hard to figure what a decent example of anything is worth.
