Price check on Mossberg 590

A local gunstore has new Mossberg 590's on sale. The one I am considering has a 18.5 inch barrel, black finish, ghost ring rear sights, orange ramp front sights. The price is $350. Is this a fair price?

I am inexperienced with shotguns, but would like to get a shotgun for home defense.

M590 price

I paid $420 plus tax for my M590, SKU # 50668 at http://www.mossberg.com/pcatalog/Specpurp.htm . They were the only local gun stores carrying Mossberg, and I didn't want to deal with mail-order FFL hassles...

$350 seems like a fair price for that gun, since the speed feed stock normally adds a bit to the price.
