Pre-B CZ 75 magazine compatability

So the CZ 75B magazines don't work in the Pre-B pistols.

Has anybody tried the hi-cap Tanfoglios with success? Are there any other clone or crossover magazines to consider? Thanks.

Any older 15-round CZ-made mag will generally work in the full-size gun, and any CZ-made compact mag will generally work in the compact guns.

Newer Mec-Gar mags (16 rounders, especially) probably won't work, even if they're OEM CZ-delivered mags for the CZ -- as Mec-Gar is now the supplier for most of their mags.

The mag well can be opened up a bit (at the top) by a gunsmith to allow almost any mags to work.

If you're shooting IDPA, get some of the 10-round CZ factory mags; they're cheap, they fit, and they're all you need for IDPA.
