polymer repair?

I traded this guy a revolver for a Springfield XD9 and there is a small nick at the bottom of the back strap where the magazine stops against. Functionally not an issue but I feel it in my hand when holding it. Anybody know of a polymer repair kit or material I can use to fill it in? I could file it down but would prefer not to.

My honest advice? Fine steel wool works great on polymers. I wouldn't try to fill it in, just get it to the point it wasn't bothersome.

You could try trimming/shaving it down with an X-Acto knife or something similar.

Sanding/filing may work as well.

Then theres always "more" nicks, as in stippling the whole thing. My preferred "fix". :)

A soldering iron may also do the little bit of smoothing that seems called for. Folks use those tools to add stippling when enhancing the grip of the guns.
