Polymer deformation/melt temperatures

Anyone here heard at what temperatures the various gun frame plastics soften and then melt?

For example, the first polymer frame I know of was the H&K VP70--a very hard black plastic that I doubt would ever soften and deform. Seems very similar to plastics (thermoset?) which I have seen start breaking down and trying to burn before they deform.

Glock plastic, on the other hand, seems to be a certain candidate for softening and eventually melting.

But at what temperatures?

And is the H&K USP plastic subject to deformation and melting at the same temps?

My interest is to compare with the scorch temperature of cotton, which I have been exposed to a few times without harm because my clothing took the heat.
