The Cobb County SWAT team's idea of gun safety is alarming.
"They were at no time in any danger from the accidental discharge of the weapon," said Arnold's report on the incident. "The round was fired in a direction away from the front door."
Never mind that this happened in an apartment building. I would have wished that by the time somebody went through SWAT training they would have learned the safe gun handling rules.
This happened at 3 AM, no chance that anybody else is in their apartment, asleep.
It appears that guns were pointed at Mr. Bailey's head while he was handcuffed. link
I don't know which is worse, the bad gun safety, or the careless attitude about it.

Sigh.

Yuk.

All I can say is that... hell, I don't have much to say. Bad safety tactics on the part of the officer.

Glad no one was hurt.
