PMC primer pocket problem

So I ordered 500 PMC once-fired 223 commercial brass online. I asked in an email if they had crimped primers and was told "no, but some of them have the red sealer paint". I have used these in other calibers so I wasn't worried. Well, when I got them I could not prime them because they were either too tight or maybe off-center primer holes. Just the ones wit the red paint. I used my reamer on a couple and I could eventually get them seated but I didn't feel comfortable about it. I used both the ram prime on my Lee press and my hand-held priming tool to no avail. At this point I put those 175 cartridges aside and loaded the other 325 with no problem. Anyone else dealt with this?

My experience with PMC in 223 is that although they are not crimped, they are really tight. So I just go ahead and swage them with my RCBS tool and after that they primer just fine.
