PMC Green

Has anyone tried PMC Green? They supposedly clean your weapon of lead. They seem to be a little more expensive. But if they're as good as advertised, I'm thinking of picking up a box and run a full mag through as a final run through during my practice sessions.

The "green" ammo is primarily intended for use on indoor ranges. As nbkky71 said, they use non-toxic primers and bullets so no one breathes the lead or primer chemicals. Personally, I don't see any advantage to the stuff except on indoor ranges because of the additional expense.

It also mentions it fertilizes outdoor ranges, which is where I usually shoot. Maybe they say it 'cleans' your barrel because it shoots cleaner than most ammunition? The ballistics look pretty good at 1350 fps from the muzzle to around 1030 fps at 100 yards for 9mm and .40 S&W.

I might buy a box to see for myself.
