PMC .223 Duds

FYI: I have had two boxes of PMC ammo in .223 with duds in them. Three in the first, one in the second. The lot number is 223A-248.

Thanks Trevor..just bought some .223 PMC yesterday. I'll post to this thread if I have the same problem. Also, I think I'll check my lot numbers.

I bought a case from Cascade; also lot 223A. Of the 20 boxes I've gone through so far each one has had at least one dud in them. It looks like there is a problem with the primers. I've pulled the bullets and the brass is filled with powder.

Is this PMC stuff the ammo from South Africa that everyone is trying to sell so cheaply?

I bought a battle pack of the S. African stuff. Good, but it's berdan primed.

The PMC stuff is selling for CHEAP around here, even at the more pricey stores. Makes you wonder...
