Please date this SA1911...

Can anyone tell me how old this Springfield-Armory pistol is that has a 49XXX serial no.? The gun has angled cocking serrations, arched MSH w/ lanyard loop, old GI style thumb safety, short trigger, plain ejection port...not lowered or flared, and brown plastic grips.

E-mail springfield with the info,and in a couple days they will answer your question,I did this a couple of weeks ago with the same question,and they told me what month and year of production.
