Four points:

#1. There are always nutjobs somewhere idolizing or deifying people (you should look at the David Cook, winner of American Idol, crowd some time)

#2. This affects NONE OF US in any way

#3. This is in no way, shape, or form gun related

and #4. this is election politics, which means it's gonna be shut down by the mods in no time at all.

Are so many people on this forum so short on people willing to listen to them that they insist on posting their electoral rhetoric on this board in clear defiance of forum rules?

Once he gets sworn in, He will have a holiday

Its called President's Day, and has been on the books for some time now.
I may get corrected on this, but I think that now that the election is over, mentioning Obama by name is no longer "election politics". However, I feel that for the time being we still need to keep politics out of the general forum as much as we can, unless it is directly GUN RELATED.
