Pistol tape job?

Never had a a request to do a grip tape job yet. Don't think I ever will actually.
Have had a few come in that had pressure switches. They used electric tape on them.
What is the right way to tape on a switch? Gotta be something better then electric!
The automotive Dept. At Walmart seems good for gripping tho.... Any other ideas?

3M double sided tape. Same stuff they used to attach trim pieces on cars. Get it at your friendly auto parts store.

Tape? Sounds like a real pain putting it on and then replacing it. My Glock 23 has been much more comfortable to shoot after slipping this Pachmayr grip sleeve onto the grip frame:
