This is a picture of the two pigs my son and I took last weekend. We hunted just South of Monterey, Ca, His was a boar about 125 pounds, mine a sow of about 100 pounds. There were bigger ones around, but these eat really well...We both used Remington 700's in .308. We hand-loaded 168g Barnes solid copper bullets(Condor country, no Lead). Great eating!!

Oh Yeah.... Them weights are sure hard to beat for eatin' pigs!
The only thing better IMHO is the 40-50 pound hoof weight piggy yielding a solid 20 pounds on the grill... But if you are after a freezer full it takes several of them!

If any of you ever hunt the King City area, let me know, There is a meat processor there, Leno, who makes the best sausage I have ever eaten...My son had the back straps in Teriyaki the other night. Melts in your mouth!
