Just thought I'd share a few pics of my Springfield 1911 A-1 Custom build that I picked up a few years ago for a mere $525. Not sure if the gun shop knew what they had because i didnt when I bought it. I was looking for smaller 1911 when I seen this and the price seemed right. When I got home I noticed a stamp on the box saying "Special Build Pistol". I contacted Springfield and sure enough it was a special order made in 1992. Feature include: National Match Frame/Slide, Nowlin Match Grade Barrel, Slide hand fitted to frame, full length guide rod, Bomar adjustable rear sights, extended thumb safety and slide release, Commander style hammer, Match grade trigger set at 2.5 lbs and custom brushed chrome finish. Let's just say I was very pleased w my purchase. i did switch the checkered grips out for a set of wrap around pacmyre grips.

I would agree with you on the new camera, the pics were taken with my phone, I need to learn to use our digital camera. As far as you getting the 1911 for the original price, I would have to disagree.

Nice pawn shop steal. Ditch that FLGR and that would be just about perfect.
