    1. Copying and pasting entire articles from another site to TFL is strictly prohibited. The same applies to articles from print or other media, and to posting photographs taken of copyrighted pages or other media.

    2. Copyright law provides for “fair use” of portions of a copyrighted work. You can copy no more than a SINGLE paragraph from the article to your post (3 or 4 sentences at most).

    3. You must provide a link to the article along with the name of website. For example: ww.xxx.yyy/zzz (The Lower Thumbsuck Daily News).

    4. You must provide, in your own words, a brief summary of the article AND your reasons for believing it will be of interest to TFL members. Failure to do so may result in the thread being closed or your post being deleted as a “cut and paste drive by.”

    5. Photographs and other images are also copyrighted. "Hotlinking" of images (so that it appears in your message) from other sites is also prohibited unless you own rights to the image. If you wish to share an image, provide a clickable link to it.

Posts that do not follow these new guidelines will be altered or deleted by staff. Members who continue to violate this policy may lose their posting privileges at TFL.

Thank you for your cooperation and your participation in TFL, the leading online forum for firearms enthusiasts.

Try this,,,,,

Apparently Google Chrome and Foxfire have found a way to access the photos that Photobucket.com does not now allow you to post to 3rd party sites anymore without paying a high price.

"In the cases where former/current PhotoBucket users haven't deleted all their albums, Chrome and Firefox now have an extension, Photobucket Embed Fix, that will display 3rd party hosted images. It will fix all your broken pics, no need for you to do anything, it runs entirely in the background.

Click Tools>Add-Ons (Or press CTL+Shift+A) >select Extensions > enter "photobucket embed" in the Search box (upper right corner) > then click the install button."

Copied from another forum.

Doesn't work.

Well, that isn't exactly right. It does to some extent, but it doesn't do much good to post pics and then have people who don't have chrome or firefox not be able to see them.

You can move from one service to another to another to another if you wish. One starts charging then another as people move to another free service provider. It's all just a continual game of whack-a-mole. It's no different from either side of the torrent situation. What will happen is that eventually one side of this thing will give up and move on. We see this same thing take place in just about every area of the technological frontier. This ceaseless and tiresome effort is the biggest reason why more people are moving from Windows based computers to Apple/IOS devices. The best way to ensure your pictures (or whatever) is to run your own server. But then, even that places some measure of responsibility on you. It's the same thing with email. It's not impossible. In fact , it's very do-able. It's just that very few people want or care to do anything more than they absolutely have to. That includes learning how to do it in the first place.

"~original" = "_optout_nomap"

That will only work until the people that run the service stops it and that's if it doesn't create a red flag that ends up making you stick out like a sore thumb.

I tried it and it works.
I agree for any new threads put images somewhere else.

But where this comes in handy is for old threads that the images are blocked.
