lots of loads out there for 1oz shells...in 12ga....

1 oz is "one ounce"....regardless whether its full of 8's or 6's or 4's ....or
"OO" for that matter...

If I wanted a light load....I'd probably load them at 1150 fps using Hodgdon Clays .../ check the Hodgdon website...

all of my 1 oz loads ...for skeet, sporting clays, trap and bird hunting ...use Rem STS hulls, Green Duster wads, Hodgdon Clays and Win 209 primers...all I vary, is the size of shot....depending on what I want.

Just a tidbit but when weighing by volumn one ounce is only one ounce when using 7.5's. If you use 6's by volumn then the load is actually lighter and 9's is heavier. All lead shot bushings are made with 7.5's as the standard, which means 1 1/8 ounce of 7.5's actually weigh 1 1/8 ounce. My 1 1/4 oz trap load of 4's actually weigh out 1 3/16 oz when measured out by volumn and then put on the scale. Again a little tidbit.
