But what the heck. I can't think of a better place to ask:
Has anybody here participated in Operation Blue to Green or do any of you know someone who has? It's the army/airfoce/navy program in which sailors/airmen of specific NECs/MOSs can transfer to the army and do the army equivilant of their former job. I'm thinking about it but I don't know for sure that I want to just yet. My reason is that being a gunner's mate is swell and all, but working in an armory on a (totally snafu) flag ship isn't cutting it. Lobbing howitzer rounds into unsuspecting mujahideen sounds a bit more exciting, y'know?
