Para Hawg 9?

Personally I've always admired Para Ordnance, I think they make beautiful guns and the LDA triggers are amazing. However, I've never been able to bring myself to buy one because of all the mixed reports I hear. Also, a couple years ago my favorite LGS stopped carrying Para because of all the problems they had with the warranty service.

I bought a small Para Hawg 9mm on a whim some years back. I don't remember the barrel length, but it was quite short.

This gun ran fine and shot well, but it just wasn't what I wanted, and I eventually sold it. There was nothing wrong with the gun -- I'm just not a dyed-in-the-wool 1911 enthusiast.
