Well Ive had my m85 for awhile now and I just couldn't stand the rear sight. So after searching the internet I saw pictures of people drilling out the rear and installing an AR peep instead.
Factory Rear
With AR peep and windage drum.
Now the original thread has been deleted and my install went pretty ok for my first time trying something like this. But my main concern is the adjustment lacks the detents of adjustment the original AR rear sight. Does anyone have any ideas how to make it a bit more sturdy holding zero after its sighted in? Something to add a bit more friction or resistance to the knob.
I'm not even sure if it will be an issue but I thought I might as well ask now. I'm gonna sight it in tomorrow.
