Palin on illegal immigration?

I can't find much. Would like to know what she thinks.

If I haven't stated this before, I'll say that I favor legal immigration.... the character of the immigrants and numbers allowed require strict scrutiny, but I think immigrants benefit America. It's just that starting off as a criminal doesn't bode well. What are Sarah's views?

Good question. So far not much about Palin's stand on immigration. I did read on another forum that she said she is against illegal immigration, but she has not made many statements about the subject. I would be shocked if she is a liberal as McCain on this issue.

I hope that's true, I too would like to know her stand on the issue as I don't agree with McCain on this one.

Normally what VPs think doesn't matter much at all, unless the president would become unable to lead. Not a very likely chance, even for McCain as old as he is.

Given where she lives, I doubt that it has been a front-burner issue for her--unlike those of us who live in Texas and other Southern border states.
