Actually, Indian police sealed Pearl's fate.

(note: I read this in Newsweek, so it must be true)

Apparently the ringleader in Pearl's kidnapping (the aforementioned Omar Sheikh) had been safely locked away in an Indian prison for five years.

Some hijackers grabbed a plane and successfully negotiated Sheikh's release in exchange for their captives.

Sooo...negiotiating with terrorists gets us WHERE again?

They kept him so long that he probably saw all or most of their faces . He was dead when they grabbed him , he had just not stopped breathing yet . People like this need to be killed in a public and most merciless manner . People that help them will get mercy . They die quicker .
