Took the Walther P99 9mm to the range and was very impressed! I love the feel of the gun and the trigger. It's not a "tackdriver" but IMO accuracy was better than my present box stock Glocks. I fired my G19 at the same session. The pistol displays very good quality. I read two articles on the SW99 40 cal with interest. Myself I would pay a little extra for the Walther name just for resale value. I am interested in the P99 40 next.

I have the .40 Walther P99 and love it. Mine is very accurate (much more accurate then my Glocks), reliable and I like the very short trigger reset in SA mode. I also like the looks of the new S&W99, the Weaver rails are an improvement and I like the round trigger guard as well. Can't wait for S&W to put it out in .45!

I've been shooting a SW99 all week. Like it a lot. Bought one, have another on order!
Shoot it better than anything I've ever had in my hand in any fighting caliber.
Very accurate and reliable (so far) w 155/165/180 FMJ from Fed/Win and 155/165/180 JHPs from Fed/Win/Rem.
Liked the P99, like this SW99 better; the changes work for me!
