OWB Holster For S&W 642

I may start carrying two j-frames. One will be in a pocket and the other will be on the hip. What experiences do any of you have with an OWB leather holster that doesn't carry the gun too low and will not cost me an arm and a leg. Thanks.

Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake.

It is what it's name suggests: simply rugged. Though, it isn't an actual sourdough pancake. This would not make a good holster.

The Sourdough Pancake is VERY rugged. Nice THICK piece o' leather, holds the gun TIGHT to your side to minimize printing and fatigue. It is not too low at all, and comes at a great price for the quality.

Look it up, awesome holsters!!

I bought a Galco holster for a 2.5" S&W 19. I really really like it and think it's a happy combination.

Some years ago, I finally saw the light and realized it's way better in the long run to go ahead and spend a little more coin on a good holster.

10-96... I like that Galco holster also, I got that paddle holster for my J frames, and the Galco Combat Master for my K frames.

I also bought a Galco for my 3 1/2" N framed 27-2, and another Galco for my 1911's
Needless to say, I like Galco holsters
