This is kind of gun related but if it does not meet the minimum threshold here I certainly understand if the thread is closed.
My father is a (self described) serious prepper. From my point of view this means he buys lots of guns, and stores some food. From his point of view he can and will survive anything short of a Nuke getting dropped on his house.
I think he is delusional but I guess that is my right as his son.
So for Christmas this year I want to do something a little different for him and get him some survival classes since his wilderness skills are suspect at best. So I'm looking for wilderness survival schools/classes in central Wisconsin. I have looked online and found a few options but like all things internet I can find results but figuring out what is worth the price and what isn't is a little tougher.
Anyone have any recommendations? Bonus points here if the class includes some form of hunting/trapping/shooting component as my father still sees SHTF survival being primarily about how well armed you are.
