The Utah State Republican convention was held today. My wife is a delegate and I helped set up signs for a candidate for the state Attorney General race. I took the kids to the convention to see first-hand how the process works. There wasn't a lot of good news for gun owners. Orrin Hatch got the nod for re-election. He was opposed by a candidate who is a constitutionalist and had a 100% rating from GOA. Hatch won the election with a 38 to 62 percent margin.
