Original Price Of A Rifle???

There is a Savage 99EG and a Winchester Model 70 in my family. Both were bought around 1951. I have always been curious what these rifles cost new. Any way to find out?

As I remember, Model 70s were selling for about $125 back then. The Savage was about the same, or a bit less, if I remember right.
